Intern
A person who undergoes short-term training at a research institute to gain practical experience in the field based on government policies and projects or to improve their practical skills in their field of study for educational or training purposes.
Qualifications
Holders of a bachelor's or master's degree
Recruitment Process
(General Trainee)
- Recruitment Method: Open competitive recruitment (twice a year)
- Screening Method: Document screening and interview
- Additional Points and Preferences: Preferential treatment for veterans, persons with disabilities, and women in science and technology in accordance with relevant laws and internal regulations
- Eligibility (Refer to the public recruitment notice)
- A person who does not fall under disqualification reasons
- A person who has completed or is exempt from military service (However, research students who have not avoided their military service obligations but have not yet fulfilled them are also eligible)
- A person who can transfer or newly join as a specialized research personnel
- A person who meets certain requirements in terms of professional qualifications, research achievements, foreign language skills, or other necessary criteria for the field

- A person falling under any provision of Article 33 of the National Civil Service Act
- A person who has attempted to evade military service
- A person judged disqualified in the medical examination
- A person whose civil rights are suspended or revoked by law
- A person deemed unfit through a background check
- A person whose employment at another public institution was canceled due to fraudulent recruitment
